As a <b>Strategic Cloud Data Engineer</b>, you will design and implement Data and Business Intelligence solutions for customer use cases, leveraging core Google products including DataFusion, DataFlow, BigQuery, Bigtable, Spanner and Data Visualization tools like Looker & Looker Studio. You will work with customers to apply Data and Business Intelligence in their business, deploy solutions, and deliver workshops to educate and empower customers.

<b>Minimum qualifications:</b> - Experience in building Data and Business Intelligence solutions. - Experience coding in Python and Go with experience in data structures, algorithms, and software design. - Experience working with technical customers. - Advanced SQL knowledge (SQL:2011, compatible with GoogleSQL). <b>Preferred qualifications:</b> - DevOps practitioner for desirable practices such as testing, integration, delivery, deployment, and monitoring of solutions. - Experience working with recommendation engines, data pipelines. - Experience in technical consulting. - Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, including data warehouse technical architectures, infrastructure components, extract transform load (ETL), and reporting or analytic tools and environments (e.g., Apache Beam, Hadoop, Spark, Pig, Hive, MapReduce, Flume). - Experience with relational and non-relational databases, performance oriented design (clustering, indexing, partitioning, etc), troubleshooting skills <b>Responsibilities</b> - Become a trusted technical advisor to customers and solve Data challenges. - Create and deliver best practices recommendations, tutorials, blog articles, code, and technical presentations adapting to different levels of business and technical stakeholders. - Mentor customers on the practical challenges in Data and Business Intelligence systems, including feature extraction, feature definition, data validation, monitoring, and security.
