1. Propose of the position.-
The IT Security Sr. Specialist plays a key role safeguarding information, system and assets by identifying and solving potential and actual security projects on Customer’s infrastructure, participates in the development and implementation of effective security projects in alignment with the Customer and Headquarter strategic plan, troubleshoots, advises and assists with technical support and system architecture; analyzes business processes; and ensures a high level of customer service.
2. Role.-
The IT Security Sr. Specialist is responsible for maintain a secure network, equipment, devices and services for the ongoing business regarding IT security, provide support, analyze data, resolution of security failures, active participation in new requirements and documentation of incidents.
3. Responsibilities.-
• Ensure to follow the company rules and Core Values.
• Participating in implementation of security solutions.
• Support team members and provide guidance on technical matters.
• Develop technical documentation.
• Develop policies and procedures.
• Ensure all documentation such inventory, signatures, policies and procedures are in place and updated.
• Ability to report work activities and progress to Management Team or directly to Client.
• Provide a detailed report of issues including the root cause analysis, timeline and contra-measures actions to Management Team.
• Ensure that all work is done in time and with sense of urgency.
• Vendor relationship.
• Control of status of all security solutions for support contract and warranty periods.
4. Essential daily functions.-
• Perform daily checklist.
• Managing, maintaining and monitoring security solutions.
• Identifying, installing and maintaining upgrades to security solutions.
• Troubleshooting and repair.
• Overseeing user access to the network.
• Ensure to document and take evidences for Security Assessment.
• Planning security solutions improvements for new applications and services.
• Incident attention and resolution according to SLA's.
• Provide information for monthly report of network status to Clients.
• Open and follow services request with vendors.
