The Security Analyst is a highly trained professional responsible for protecting the company’s information systems. This role involves implementing security measures to safeguard the organization’s confidential information and data systems against any potential threats. The Security Analyst must stay informed about the latest security trends and threats to keep the company’s infrastructure secure and up to date.
Role Mission / General Objective:
The primary objective of the Security Analyst is to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of the company’s information and systems. This is achieved through the identification and management of potential threats, risk assessment and mitigation, implementation of security protocols, and response to security incidents. The Security Analyst is also responsible for staying current with emerging security trends and threats to effectively protect the organization, reporting functionally to the team located abroad.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
1. Implement and maintain information security policies and procedures.
2. Identify and manage security threats and vulnerabilities.
3. Conduct risk assessments and propose mitigation measures.
4. Respond to security incidents and perform post-incident investigations.
5. Stay up to date on the latest security trends and threats.
6. Provide global security training and awareness to users.
7. Participate in the planning and design of the company’s security infrastructure.
8. Conduct regular security audits and prepare reports.
9 .Collaborate with other departments to ensure security across all company operations.
10. Provide support and service coverage for the North America region.
