This position serves as a dedicated Permanent Substitute within the Exceptional Learner Programs, ensuring continuity of services and smooth daily operations whenever Learning Center or Gifted and Talented staff are absent. The role supports an inclusive environment where students feel safe, guided, and encouraged to thrive. You will follow established instructional plans, uphold intervention and accommodation guidelines, and help maintain strong communication with the ELP team. The work involves active collaboration, observational learning, and participation in ongoing professional development to strengthen instructional support skills. This position plays an important part in reinforcing the values of collaboration, responsibility, and care across the program.
Requerimientos

- Undergraduate or graduate degree in Psychology or Education.
- Preferably two years of experience in school settings or other educational environments.
- General understanding of remediation strategies, learning processes, learning styles, and differentiated instruction.
- Knowledge in curricular adaptations aligned with student needs.
- Background or training in Special Education.
- Ability to follow sub plans that include interventions, accommodations, and classroom expectations.
- Strong communication skills for reporting coverage outcomes to ELP staff.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
