Position Summary
The role is customer facing. You are responsible for managing/building order requests from the customer (Cort Furniture), also planning and coordinating pickups and deliveries.
You will collaborate with the Cort Furniture specific team to ensure any rescheduling is done in a timely manner and alerting the customer via email of any pertinent information about the order. Also, you will play a role in managing the email bucket and participating in the call tree which is specific to Cort.
Top 5 tasks & responsibilities:
1. General planning: confirming pickups, deliveries, reschedules.
2. Order/Load Creation following SOP’s carefully for data integrity purposes.
3. Actively sending the BOL/advising of coverage, and ETA updates
4. Handling incoming phone calls to the customer’s specific phone line
5. Handling escalations – making sure the customer is in the loop on any sort of escalations - claims, delays, etc
